Looks like you had a "cool" weekend in many ways! I've never seen the Crown Fountain but it looks like fun.
Ha ha! How old were the "kids" who enjoyed the fountain. I would have been dodging water jets with the rest of them. It's great that you were able to select photos from a fun weekend for this post - gave a second thread of connectivity which I appreciated. Wishing you "harmony" with the weather gods in August.
Oooohh, Chicago is one of my very favorite cities! Recognized the Buckingham fountain right away. Very cool! Great night shot, too.
