Started out the month hanging out at the cabin at The Ranch.
The drive-ins have made a comeback; unfortunately all of our in door theaters are going bankrupt. But it was good to see a movie on the big screen.
Creeping slowly back in to scouts. Trying to see who is still around before we have to renew our charter. Outdoors, masked, and distanced.
We drove up to Dallas to check out the Pumpkin Patch at the the Dallas Arboretum. Timed entries and masks kept everyone safe.
Quick temperature changes have made for some cool weather features.
That's five. Another month done. Check out the others and join us for November.

Wow! That pumpkin patch is my favorite.
I spy Hocus Pocus. That's a huge fave of mine. It was filmed in Salem, MA. (The city next door to the one I grew up in.)
Thank you for keeping the scouts masked and safe!
I've never understood the appeal of a pumpkin patch, since they are readily available in grocery stores, but with displays like that, I can see where people would go to them.
The view of the ranch is stunning! And I love the fog created by the temperature inversion. I believe we have one drive in left in the area and it's 30 minutes away!
Like Paul, the idea of a pumpkin patch never really appealed to me. But after seeing your picture, I'll be keeping my eyes out for something like that in our part of the world. Good luck figuring out the scout situation. One thing about COVID is it really reinforces what's important and what's worth getting creative in order to preserve in one form or another.
